I love it! The shading of the jawline, the negative space in the back of the hair. Great work and very Laskin!

The only problem that I see with your inlay, Craig, is that it isn't on a Kinnaird guitar.

Brock, isn't it fun to have Craig around to do something like that to your guitar?
Congrats to you both!

Steve

Yes it is fun. Now that I have this in my tool bag, I am sure I can get more work like this for both of us.

Brock, you never told us who was the inspiration for the peghead. Is that your wife or yo mama?

Madonna.

The client wanted it to be kind of a tribute guitar.

I just got back from being away, and this is absolutely the most active thread one of my pieces has ever recieved!
Thanks for all of your support and assistance, and most of all friendship.
Daveandy- yes it does go to one's head, but more in a "I'm so lucky to know these people way" than just a simple ego builder.
That said, simple ego building is also fun, and I'm getting quite proficient at it....

Thanks again guys.
Your all awesome, real people. I am so glad to have met many of you in person.
Here I go through another hurricane- SKG Dave hold on tight- this ones coming your way again it seems! If you make it out I'll draw out that preacher's inlay ASAP. I do have an idea.

Craig Lavin

Craig
I was going to post this pic over at the Acoustic Guitar forum. Those guys had a thread about inlay you like and it seemed like a fitting thing to do. But the address for the pic did not conjur up anything, and I could not find the picture on your website.
